In the thick of 1999, the
emotive inspirations of three brothers spawned a hybrid of many kinds of music in the suburbs of
Vancouver, BC, Canada. Known as NinjaSpy, their music is derived from post hardcore, ska, grunge,
reggae, funk, with hints of other styles. It swings between extremes both fierce and melancholy,
creating manic and maniacal raw live shows. Infusing funk and groove with heart-pounding
double-kick and guttural screams, this “Triad in Blood” draws the attention of musicians and music
listeners alike.
Vocalist/Guitarist ninjoelspy, Drummer ninjadamspy and Bassist nintimjaspy form this band that
composes music aiming to engage their audience in a spectrum of styles, a mission to eradicate
narrow mindedness and to seek self knowledge. Over the years their ideas have broadened to address
many social and world issues, making the content of Ninjaspy’s music both relevant and engaging to
those who seek insight through poetry and percussive politics.
Their fan base has swelled with every show, every tour and every piece of industry support. By
combining explosive live performance with unique and challenging music, Ninjaspy will emerge from
the tattered raiment of an insipid existence to invigorate the intelligence of an apathetic
