Throne of Vengeance is an all original, hard rock, four
piece band from Calgary Alberta. Influenced by 70’s and 80’s rock music, they
deliver a classic rock sound modernized by the new millennium combined with their
own brand of heavy metal.
In 2010, Throne Of Vengeance is driving their music outwards and spreading it to
the worldwide audience. While the music industry is still suckling to more pop
music, sex driven marketing campaigns, and music riffs that all sound the same, TOV
has taken it upon themselves to carry on the high driven energetic performance that
the music industry is consistantly lacking today.
The new album “Flesh Engine” is a story which encompasses the devastating events
and issues that have affected the world in recent years. Tommy Shakes, Throne Of
Vengeance’s lead vocalist, describes the story of the album as the destiny of the
world. “As this world gets deeper and deeper into itself and more money is being
made by the people that try to rule it, we are writing songs like Flesh Engine,
Undertow, Frontlines, and Utter Chaos, in an attempt to balance the order of the
world and hopefully get a positive message through to those with negative thoughts
towards others across the globe”.
AOR Rock Legend, Paul Sabu, produced and mixed the
album in collaboration with Nate Reno of
Slaughter House Studios.
Their high energy shows offer entertainment and amongst all else, something lacking
in today’s music world, raw talent. The boys deliver a rock-solid performance, each
and every time they hit the stage. From their charismatic performances, to their
love of writing music and supporting other indie musicians, Throne Of Vengeance is
the next fresh sound in Canadian Heavy Metal.
